Green Beans, Red Sauce

250g Green Beans (french or runners will bth work)

200g Cherry tomatoes

Quarter of an onion

1-2 garlic cloves

Pinch of paprika

Red wine, sherry or balsamic vinegar

Parsley or basil (optional)

Parmesan (optional)

Chopped toasted almonds (optional)


First make the salsa, roughly chop tomatoes, finely dice the onion and mince the garlic.

Mix in a bowl with paprika, salt and pepper. Add a good glug of vinegar and twice as much oil. Taste, adjust, taste, adjust! Leave to mingle.


Get a pan of water boiling for the beans. String your runner beans if using, check our Instagram if you don’t know how. Cut in half if on the larger side of life. Cook in boiling water for 5-8 minutes or to your liking.

Drain the beans, put them in a serving bowl and spoon over the salsa, juices and optional herbs.


If using, sprinkle on almonds and parmesan.
